After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete.

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32.

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again.

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes.

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure.

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. , x# d* W" f; O2 ^7 L) D

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
