Job title / function:
Project Engineer, Cable & Motor Business

Goal of the position (Why has the position been established?):
To provide on-going supports in Europe for cable and motor products in product development and production

Main tasks / most important areas of responsibility:
-        Develops new product solutions for the European market in close collaboration with Chinese facilities.
-        Responsible for cable and motor issues in production such as quality, delivery, engineering changes
-        Responsible for cable prototype build
-        Work closely with Program Manager and the Chinese facilities cable and motor production launches in Europe


Requested education:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering (Uni, FH)


Requirements for the selection process:
-        Young professional with approximately 3 years of professional experience

-        Experience gained in a manufacturing company, e.g. in quality, manufacturing or material management, preferred in automotive or automotive supplier industry (Wishlist: best case cable, motor or actuator products, but not required)

-        Or a fresh graduate, if he possesses first degree from Chinese University and then worked for several years in China, before he moved to Germany for study reasons.

-        Good communication skills, blue print reading, good understanding of manufacturing processes, problem solving skills

-        The candidate should possess good command in Chinese (Mandarin), English and German.

Project Manager, Cable & Motor Business

Goal of the position (Why has the position been established?):
To develop cable and motor business in Europe through focused effort in program management and technical support to internal and external customers

Main tasks
-        Manage all cable and motor projects prior to SOP
-        Be the central point of communication with Chinese operations
-        Provide technical support to sales team in Europe for external customers
-        Work closely with R&D, engineering and purchasing on LPAG Europe’s new product and program development

Requested education:
University degree Mechanical Engineering (Uni, FH)


Requirements for the selection process:
-        Experienced Project Manager with approximately 5 years of professional experience (total – no need to have worked as project manager for 5 years).

-        Experience gained in manufacturing companies in sales or engineering function, preferred in automotive or automotive supplier industry. “Wishlist”: cable, motor or actuator products (best case, but not required)

-        International personality with contacts to China, ideally a Chinese candidate who knows European business culture well.

-        Good communication skills, blue print reading, good understanding of program management and basic manufacturing processes, problem solving skills

-        Good command of English and German language skills is a “must”. Chinese (Mandarin) knowledge is of advantage.
