She attended UConn and graduated from Bryant Business College.Mim was an administrative secretary at the Eastern Maine General Hospital EMMC for 17 years and also manager of the hospital coffee shop. She was an interior decorator 鈥?advising, consulting and speaking on color and design, Executive Director of Senior Citizens Council of Greater Bangor, from which she wrote a weekly column in the BDN named Prime Time, and worked for 6 years in fashion modeling and acting in TV commercials.She found time to teach gourmet cooking classes and rug hooking. She was a scout leader, active in the PTA and a director of the Hampden K-8 school hot lunch program.
