But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. ( H- x. L6 n. c B, x' T; @2 Y/ O8 l
Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 2 d6 h. L$ s* m" {6 x7 p3 y
6 i0 r! s( m! E. h"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 9 ?" Z; O3 t5 ~3 m8 \) l) N% C 0 X x! m0 G" v! l"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." $ |; V0 z: L, V1 ]& @0 d$ U $ Q' C9 H3 @) M, ]) rThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. * [2 z0 c3 W: u- R @4 I

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 4 a) @9 T- l2 f$ d. j% n2 ~
; ^8 e" [5 c- K" M3 u; D' gThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 4 O: \7 z z1 l3 z S! I: d; j
: H/ J7 T$ e, W; zShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 7 N) ?" F3 N4 I) T- X( d ^; s0 p1 l$ g# F* O5 c/ Y, X* [Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 8 }/ F. G! p ~, I: H 7 Y1 @3 q; L# n/ zBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. # ]2 _% Q& V4 P) @ 6 I: m* c( c6 I; D: m( a: l"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ! h# c _5 ~; N

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ) o `$ D4 c/ C: }

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. + U; d i7 h3 D% e

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ! W* [5 Q) d' j" @. t9 y

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ( X9 y2 Y4 b; n$ e- ^$ W0 d. g6 I
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 4 s1 j6 b) o) |) g/ S
* ]* F$ F$ S5 NMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 4 f$ _; v' ^4 d
+ f3 U# x; M: s! e" t* w"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 3 h; y8 d% g! l# z8 X# R1 Q; Z0 T
" o! G1 F. r; hHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
