9 b) p; N$ w1 a; t* y. u4 iBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 9 [" c1 X: { O$ z# b & E Q& Y0 L: g( l7 f1 i; GLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. , q& }- E! r6 Q
?$ ~# P/ C* O- `4 @6 f" H"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 9 N; w0 `$ P8 B, A) x* A3 y$ w ) N* ?$ R9 R, t4 F"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ; {) \+ Y- O0 {6 R% H3 O

A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ) U6 T' z& ?5 F( [/ Z * k3 l" Y. y- n: j" i, M" h- W5 JAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. % w8 Y4 H9 l. + f. o9 z( s1 Z% C7 lThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. $ h% J& {2 O9 f: g
) u* E$ `0 z& M1 a; r* \She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. , i4 C! Y* s- I" c& j3 Q( z4 a
& e. L* M1 `6 `' W# V
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ( S A& w. ~% q+ c- ^% e3 M1 @8 i; l& c
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 1 N- Y) t* p3 D

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ! d# U- T9 {4 N( l, t$ l- W. i4 X) H; {: K6 O* |! X
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ' S7 j( R4 o( L, V* Q" M3 ` - h, `# i7 u4 V) CTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. C6 c5 ^& z2 t. ^

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. - Y6 M% k% e" c, Q8 Y
9 W5 \$ V9 |8 l2 hThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. + }3 M$ J( g& D* e. @+ D) D! C % e w+ C& O* Z2 R2 yMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 0 l; h* ?* ?& g; J; H/ N

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 4 X& c+ l( u/ }0 l5 y

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
