After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. 3 s, H+ m' X' g+ O5 j 7 F2 |* m! L3 R$ eBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. + B: o9 t! m: e8 b6 R: H: H- r) `
+ S, m* C. X, a* n& g& I- L) c# ~Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 2 [" c5 n- ?& V/ l6 Z2 a7 s
" q: s; C9 z4 g) j8 a9 a"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ! F5 }3 F+ s$ V3 p. y3 P
& A1 f4 K) s2 W, L5 b"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 4 v3 K0 ~/ L7 R* |8 }; H/ x' J. [" d$ o1 `5 O( u, {
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. $ a! P3 ^' C: ]& U

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ( @ e( O& M% @1 T" Q& H
. L( p' b( ]" b, E0 X+ I zAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. % [4 G5 p! E, r! q
6 h% G8 I# T$ k4 a C" d8 o' ~8 R
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 7 r, R5 b/ W/ ^- _: O 4 B4 ~0 q5 k1 c" NThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ) n) ^! n7 F% H6 H' {* U+ k! N4 [: g0 b
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 2 N8 J5 [% X- y5 [$ g+ q# O/ K" P
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 5 m4 r. B* o6 T$ i, D- s& b) f; f$ M; ?2 E
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. & E4 \+ b; y) p, \: G * b$ d6 }% P0 q+ u"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. * b5 r" p1 \9 N1 v9 o" g6 J

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. + m7 Q( i* Z. k$ a% l0 ]
. r) T# u* Y2 D! K) f; s"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." / [0 Z& }: F5 _/ j. {% k/ J: U, g2 V/ E6 K! e( x- l4 r- A% j
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. $ Y @* ]: b$ B# y i- l- c
/ l \, O" h7 l% x/ Z
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. + O2 A9 S& e' f& L# G6 l3 _# k% t' C) \- t
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. " D: E. F- h( v + {% k. W* {' D/ W7 b# NThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. ; X# o/ u e# I 1 @6 l7 z5 g- Z* HMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 0 P* ?, j" e" h$ u, F4 Q
$ e8 V* t8 O7 E" j
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." * A1 S! E- Q% ?7 ~4 X
! t* w8 @* h( H6 hHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
