今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 ! l: a$ \# ?$ u$ p e

小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” / I. _* m* k8 }" J2 b0 R0 m c3 I/ u0 C2 \8 y

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. $ C; K' L" C4 N8 I. I9 E+ \1 D9 z 0 Q; P0 q- F2 Y! Q"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ( T( O3 U6 r3 S9 |2 X- F" _

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 6 i8 [2 o7 Y, h& C J: W

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ! z5 }7 Z) a- L% R% V: o5 O1 [

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ; u V: T: g6 D" ?, D! B4 n- V$ v7 b
/ E/ h% L8 v. }/ a- ]# ~Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. ) }( @1 ]0 U: [% ` 8 b/ j) c% [' @# _% {& q) c7 {' vIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ) X* H0 V; F c8 j. g( c8 l* {: C: k" X
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ' w2 t; E8 v$ ^8 K& D/ { S+ r. _; e3 t
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. S6 H6 |# ~6 o8 p& u; T% T: V

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 6 {, o) k: x) S8 t, w1 h J0 k( _% x
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. + `( N4 v, b$ h. k0 A3 A& R

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. + u; W. j2 A1 H
* c# {; U: |6 S! C- c$ B8 l; r"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. z9 r+ m6 I: b: X

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 0 P0 N# O6 k0 m* G9 e1 R$ W

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. k! o, t, v& v: E" R) r
" F: H8 o% Z( P7 a- X# A+ X+ BTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. & M/ {6 b8 z* K- Z0 T7 t, E: ` 2 o/ y0 B# J0 FThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ! O& U3 l/ R/ s' A2 V . _ f' @7 r, z ~They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. - w' S: U/ R7 \
0 X# M: z( w% l1 FMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. T" d6 n6 q& `5 q ! j7 E; l) I c& b/ k, U/ o, B"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 4 D; X! f2 T8 t; P 8 R m3 v: K# H8 U+ I# vHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
