; S. N$ _8 j- ~But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. # {. }8 ?5 Z: S

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 5 \+ f( R/ I4 `& N
( i! `7 c& |* f8 l4 S& D4 f"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ! v& w; L1 ?# t, d
+ D$ @9 ?/ b" A# j"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ! l- `7 Z; W2 G( A) F k* e# W! e: a2 G& Z, B1 b5 l9 A
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ; ~% N$ m! j0 b

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. , ~1 Y P7 ~* E% `$ O
5 p; n* a% q: w+ n/ N+ X8 d# l( LAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. " ^, `( k% Q; U* Z7 ^8 [+ E0 i0 x& _" H y& S) }) R
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 8 s K, D; \* j' G& {" s

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ' r! K5 A' O* Q% S1 N! a2 R4 }* s0 U2 b2 ~* E, a6 T! B: k+ O" P9 {
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. * O3 b1 A* m- e: ?; Z2 \( V. v4 @1 \ s" V& G3 T7 F! e% }
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. + _1 K1 T. u& i3 d( x
d) e4 x) i1 |' w1 A, o: sBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. ) j. { c% B6 F# f" [6 G' u* e. U; T( r1 N p0 r) Q, D! B
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. $ q! V6 n3 G5 r9 K
p9 h7 Z2 D9 Q7 k3 W"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ( ~, V* b( I( I* C% c f 0 W- M5 }3 J, N6 a/ B* ["When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ' n7 n @+ d r/ C2 |; G% S5 |) u) ?
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. + T. _# e& f& }5 q* H

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 0 U) c, `& g/ W- f
' ]5 q" `$ y( @3 A- B" J+ z( SThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. * p" C$ p, w) g5 N9 { F

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. % N9 z8 s. W, [9 ^, t# u$ Y* `7 ?: [
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. & _+ T) E1 U6 R& d# w* L$ e
. M. t' T4 |$ }9 C"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." . ?( T& k4 P- }2 C6 Z) Z
6 Z- Q! ?, z6 D8 R5 ~0 n8 x6 MHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
